Getting Started with Editor JS API

The Editor JS API helps you to extend the functionality of Duda’s editor for your users through the use of Javascript in your Custom Branding HTML. You will be able to listen for several editor-specific events, which contain contextual information related to the event, and provide callback functionality for those events. In addition you will be able to access global data such as the current account and site being edited, and perform UI actions such as opening custom popups.

How to use the API

Get started by going to Custom Branding and accessing the Editor tab. Click on Custom HTML to add your script tag. Access the platform module at the global window scope.

<script>
window.addEventListener("load", () => {
  // use the api here
  console.log(platform.data.site.name);
});
</script>
